But Cleopatra did not enjoy the comfort and bliss as a queen for a long time, as repeated disagreements quickly erupted between her and her younger brother, where each party became disputing and grappling  for ruling, and Cleopatra was aware that she the worthiest  for taking power thanks to the love of the Egyptians for her, and also thanks to what She has experience of things her younger brother misses, but at the same time, her brother was surrounded by a group of his supporters who in fact acted for their personal interests, then they became enemies to Cleopatra, and among the most prominent of them were three men with strong positions in the palace: - "Euthenus Greek Who held the position of advisor to King Ptolemy XIII, and Achillas, he was an Egyptian and held the position of commander of the royal guard, and Theodotus greek, who was a special teacher to the king", Thus the shared ruling became to the brink of collapse, so one party had to get rid of the other, and that conflict lasted for about three years until Ptolemy XIII and his supporters succeeded in forcing Cleopatra to leave Egypt, and she was 22 years old at the time.

Cleopatra left Egypt when the noose was tightened on her, but she was really not weak to accept submission and surrender, as she was managing her affairs in preparation for a strong returning again.
